Best thing about visiting St. Louis: Getting to see “Mrs. Alice”, a surrogate auntie of mine from New Jersey. She earned her title when we were youngins and pronouncing her surname was all too complicated. Other greatest asset of St. Louis? It’s a patron of the arts and taxes are paid in lieu of admission prices, hence a healthy cultural scene.
